Traverse City, Mich.— Northern Michigan Veterans will get a boost for emergency assistance thanks to a Biederman Family Foundation Grant. The
Foundation today announced a $2,000 grant to the TC Patriot Game. Proceeds from the game this year support a local organization called Veterans In Crisis.

Veterans In Crisis works in 21 northern Michigan Counties to provide emergency relief for Veterans. They help out with a wide range of situations that can include
help with paying rent, emergency food supplies, help with tuition payments or other emergent needs.

The TC Patriot Game will be held September 20 th . The game takes place during the annual football clash between Traverse City Central High School and
Traverse City West Senior High School. The game is used to honor active duty military, Veterans, first responders and those from northern Michigan who have
been killed in action while serving their country or community.

Money is raised to support a Veteran organization chosen by students from both schools. Donations come through sponsorships, grants and the sale of
commemorative shirts.

“This game has a huge impact on our community and the men and women who serve our community,” says Ross Biederman from the Biederman Family
Foundation. “It is an honor for us to once again play a role in assisting Veterans in need.”
